Teen Mom 2‘s Tuesday episode tugged on its’ viewers heartstrings, as one of Leah‘s twins, Ali, is suffering complications as she develops, unable to close her hands or bend her feet properly.

Leah and her ex-boyfriend’s stepmom take the ailing tot to a doctor, who orders an MRI done on the baby’s spine to determine the problem.

“My baby shouldn’t have to deal with this,” said a distraught Leah.

Concerned baby daddy Corey stepped up, and provided Leah with tenderness and support — a trait rarely seen from the young fathers on the show.

We also got more drama from Jenelle, whose lack of responsibility, admitted recreational drug use and disrespect shown toward her mother add a layer of uncomfortably to the show we’ve never seen before. In Tuesday’s episode, she moved back home with her mother, but a custody battle over the child, Jace, continues between them.
