She may only be 17 years-old, but Teresa Scanlan wowed the Miss America judges, and Saturday night she walked away with the coveted title.  You can watch a clip of the moment she received her crown in Las Vegas here on RadarOnline.com.

Scanlan is the youngest winner since the very first Miss America competition 90 years ago when 15-year-old Margaret Gorman won.

Representing Nebraska, Scanlan played piano as her talent. In the interview portion, she adeptly handled a question about balancing the WikiLeaks revelations against the public's right to be informed.

She called the dissemination of classified documents "espionage" and said "we have to focus on security first and then people's right to know."

Teresa is expected to travel almost a quarter-million miles for speaking engagements and other personal appearances during her year as Miss America.  Fortunately, a full wardrobe was part of her prize package along with a $50,000 college scholarship for the lawyer-to-be.
