The eleventh season of NBC's weight loss competition The Bigger Loser rolled on Tuesday, as the show unleashed its' first temptation challenge of the season.

As you'll remember, there are two camps in this year's competition: a team training on the ranch under Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels, and a team called “The Unknowns” training in Malibu under Brett Hoebel and Cara Castronuova. Each of two teams are made of pairs of contestants working together in their weight loss goals.

The temptation exercise came with a unique twist: whichever pair on the ranch that consumed the most calories would win the challenge, giving them the opportunity to eliminate another pair of competitors on the ranch, by sending them to The Unknown team.

The discipline of the competitors was put to the test, when they were brought before a scrumptious buffet for a three-minute period, welcome to gorge on everything from pizza to cake to BBQ to gooey monkey bread. (The menu was a compilation of their favorite foods prior to entering the competition.)

“Does any of this stuff look as good as a hot guy?” Olivia asked Hannah, who said, “Uh, no.”

In the end, the competitors showed will power that would have made the late Jack LaLanne smile: only Arthur would eat anything, a small drumstick which gave him the choice to send any of his competitors to the Unknowns. He chose Jen and Jay.

The episode ended with the competitors getting letters of encouragement from their families back home.

The Biggest Loser returns on NBC Tuesday at 8/7c.
