VIDEO: Mark Zuckerberg Announces Big Changes To Facebook

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg told 60 Minutes Sunday that there will be sweeping changes to his social networking Web site for the first time in two years, including a new design and features that highlight the mutual ties between each user.

“You can see all of the things that you have in common with that person,” the 26-year-old billionaire told CBS's Lesley Stahl. “It gives you an amazing connection.”

Another enhanced feature of the re-designed Web site -- which is used by 500 million browsers in 70 languages worldwide -- is the See Friendship option, which sorts out all of the pictures, groups and messages two users have in common. Users can also sort out the people they talk to the most, such as family and close friends, with the Featured Friends option.

Zuckerberg -- who was portrayed by actor Jesse Eisenberg in this fall's hit flick, The Social Network -- said other features such as hometown, jobs, birthdays and relationships will be featured more prominently atop each profile page.
