The seeds of romance between Christina Aguilera and Matt Rutler might have planted as far back as February of this year — eight months before she publicly announced her divorce from Jordan Bratman – when these pics were snapped of the diva and her assistant on the set of the musical Burlesque.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Aguilera filed for divorce from Bratman, the father of her 2-year-old son Max, on October 14.
In these pictures, the then-married Aguilera is seen walking aside her on-set assistant, though she said no romantic sparks flew until her marriage to Bratman came to an end.

“Once I filed for divorce, we started dating,” Aguilera told People. “I’m not trying to jump into anything. I just left a five-year marriage. I’m taking it slow and trying to be happy.”
The What A Girl Wants singer, as RadarOnline.com reported, met Rutler’s parents over a romantic Thanksgiving weekend with her new beau.
