Zac Efron has lost the mop top synonymous with his High School Musical days, as the handsome 23-year-old star was recently snapped sporting a military-style buzz-cut while filming The Lucky One in New Orleans.
In the upcoming film, Zac plays a Marine returning home after a third tour of duty in Iraq.

Zac didn’t go under the barber shears alone: Proving he’s a class act, for every crew member that got a military cut with him, Zac pledged a donation in their honor toward Kingsley House, a New Orleans-based charity that helps children.
“He likes doing things for charity — two Make-A-Wish kids came a visit to the set while he was there, and he felt like he wanted to do something for a New Orleans charity since he had such a nice time shooting there,” his publicist Gina Hoffman told The Times-Picayune.
