Dr. Conrad Murray Keeps Nevada Medical License

Dr. Conrad Murray, the infamous doc who's criminally charged in Michael Jackson's death, is keeping his Nevada medical license, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners, which can strip a doctor of his license for failing to pay child support, said Murray is up to date on his payments. In March, the board, acting on information that Murray wasn't paying child support, had filed a formal complaint against him.

Chief Edward Cousineau said Wednesday that Dr. Murray admitted to making inaccurate and incomplete statements to the board about being current on child support.

Murray’s punishment: $3,700 in investigation costs.

The doc's spokeswoman says Murray believes he complied with reporting rules and was negotiating payments with his son's mother. The case is now officially closed.

Murray has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter in Jackson’s death in June 2009 at age 50. Authorities say he gave the singer a lethal dose of sedatives, including the anesthetic propofol and painkiller lidocaine.
