Michael Douglas is fighting hard throughout his courageous battle with throat cancer and RadarOnline.com has photos of him out with his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones on Monday in New York.
The 66-year-old actor has been recuperating from the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation, looking thin and frail, prompting speculation his health has taken a dramatic turn for the worse.
As RadarOnline.com first reported, despite his appearance the Wall Street 2 actor has mustered up the energy to travel three hours from Manhattan to Pennsylvania to visit his son Cameron in prison.
“He’s not going everyday and not as often as he would like, but he is still visiting with him,” Douglas’ longtime friend and publicist Allen Burry told RadarOnline.com.
His 31-year-old son is serving time in Lewisburg Federal Prison Camp and is expected to be released in December 2013, but the troubled addict could get out a year early, if he completes a prison drug-treatment program.
Douglas recently completed eight weeks of treatment for a walnut-sized tumor at the base of his tongue.
