RadarOnline.com caught up with Katy’s dad, Keith Hudson, at the Rolling Stone Restaurant & Lounge’s AMA After Party in Los Angeles Sunday night, and he had nothing but praise for his new son-in-law, British funnyman Russell Brand.
Hudson told us he “could not have wished for a better son-in-law in Russell. He makes my girl so happy. She’s so happy and he makes her light up. They’re going to be just fine…”

Then, he threw in this zinger: “You couldn’t see two f**king happier people.”
As RadarOnline.com has previously reported, Perry, 26, and Brand, 35, wed in a lavish ceremony in India in October.
