Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino's futuristic fox trot on Monday's Dancing With The Stars left the MTV star’s future on the show in doubt, as the reality star received a mediocre 20 out of 30 points on the night, and left  at least one judge on the panel utterly confused.

“If that’s the future, I’m glad I live in the past,” judge Len Goodman said of the time machine-themed dance, which was set to the Black Eyed Peas hit Boom Boom Pow. “I don’t want to be nasty, its not in my nature -- if you were dancing in my backyard, I’d have to draw the curtains. It was a bizarre performance.”

Bruno Tonioli dubbed The Situation's dance with dance partner Karina Smirnoff a “Land of the Lost Fox Trot,” adding that it was “very, very entertaining.”

If he makes it to next week, The Sitch still has one ace in the hole he hasn't yet played through three weeks of competition: his rippling abs, which he said he'd bare during next week's routine.

Dancing With The Stars' eleventh season continues Tuesday at 9/8c on ABC; in the meantime, new episodes of Jersey Shore air on MTV, Thursdays at 10/9c.
