UPDATE: Lindsay has just arrived to the courthouse at 08:05 PDT -- 25 minutes minutes prior to her hearing. She's now inside. No cameras were allowed in the courtroom.

It's D-Day for Lindsay Lohan - again.

The troubled Mean Girls star is due to appear before Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elden Fox Friday morning in Beverly Hills for a probation violation hearing stemming from a 'dirty' drug test.

Lohan, 24, has been at the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, California since September 28, where she's been undergoing treatment for cocaine addiction - a story that RadarOnline.com was first to report.

In court friday, Fox has several options: he could let Lindsay go back to rehab or, if he finds her in violation of her probation, he could send her back to jail - even possibly for one year!

A source close to the actress told RadarOnline.com: "Judge Fox could be inclined to sentence Lindsay on Friday up to one year in jail. The fact that he ordered Lindsay to appear, even though she is currently in rehab and not planning to fight the probation violation, has Lindsay's legal team very, very, concerned."

The insider continued, "Even though Judge Fox has previously said that any dirty drug test would result in an automatic 30 days behind bars, he could go above and beyond that and simply terminate her probation. If he does that, he can sentence Lindsay to up to one year in jail. She would get credit for time served from her stint at Lynwood earlier this year and would probably do four to five months in jail."

As RadarOnline.com reported, Lindsay failed a drug test just three weeks after her release from UCLA Medical Center in August. She appeared in court and was immediately remanded to custody at Lynwood Correctional Facility. Her lawyer filed an appeal, however, and she was released after several hours. Lindsay then voluntarily checked into the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, Calif. where she's been receiving treatment.

A source close to Lindsay's camp told RadarOnline.com, "I wouldn't be surprised if she gets a year in jail and serves six months. I think everyone close to her would like to see her go back to rehab, but there's an overwhelming feeling that something is going to happen to Lindsay if she doesn't go away for a long time, so they're reconciling with the fact that she could go to jail for a while. People are scared."

As RadarOnline.com reported exclusively on Wednesday, Judge Fox has refused to meet with Lindsay's lawyer and the District Attorney before Friday's hearing.

"Judge Fox is fair, but if there is an inclination that someone has violated his orders, he doesn't have any patience for that," the source told RadarOnline.com.

Meanwhile, as RadarOnline.com also previously reported, the Machete actress got a special visitor at the Betty Ford Center on Wednesday, when Lindsay's mom Dina stopped by for a memorable trip.

A source close to the Lohan family told RadarOnline.com that Dina spent an emotional day with Lindsay at the famous treatment center. The mother and daughter reunited for the first time since she checked herself into rehab.

"She told me she saw Lindsay and she's feeling really well and doing great," the source told RadarOnline.com. "Now, they're just anxiously awaiting Friday's court appearance."

Friday's hearing begins at 8:30 a.m. local time, and RadarOnline.com will live stream her arrival. Judge Fox has banned any cameras from inside the courtroom, but we'll be inside the hearing, and will bring you the latest developments as the hearing is over.
