It's getting nasty again.

Kate Gosselin, appearing on Live with Regis & Kelly Friday, said her little ones are not the happiest of campers when they go to their father Jon’s house -- claims he later responded to as “LIES.”

Asked if she's getting along better with her ex-hubby, the 35-year-old mother-of-eight cryptically responded, "It 's ... you know."

The blonde beauty said the level of tension between she and the father of her children "depends on the day," and she does her best to keep the focus on what's best for the kids.

"I do try to keep it as peaceful as possible. I'll speak for myself ... he's still their father," Kate said.

Kate said that when the kids go on visits with Jon, she “basically waits for the phone call from how many of them want to come home."

Kate said the current visitation schedule "is very new to us. It's only been three months that he's actually been spending time with them and taking them."

Kate said Jon's house "is not their home; it doesn't feel like home to them ... they want to be at home -- in their house.”

Jon took to Twitter to respond, and tried to take the high road despite his obvious anger.

"As much as I want to respond to numerous LIES recently claimed on Regis and Kelly, I will refrain. I have learned from the past that it’s a waste of my time and energy,” he Tweeted Friday morning. “I am 'rising above', and refuse to engage in any sort of public argument that could potentially harm or upset my children. My children and the people in my life know the truth, and that is what’s important."
