Asked about the reported $5 million he’s made since the rise of Jersey Shore — due to his numerous appearances, endorsements, a Vodka brand and a top-selling app — The Rich-uation said he’s “just blessed.
“Everybody knows I come from humble beginnings,” he said.
The Situation was joined halfway through by his sexy dance partner Karina Smirnoff, who said she “kind of freaked out” when she found out she’d be paired up with the GTL king, based on common misconceptions.
“He’s sweet, he’s respectful, he’s the opposite of what you see on Jersey Shore,” she said. “He’s honestly amazing.”
Lopez then discussed The Situation’s recent relocation to Los Angeles to further entrench himself in the show biz fold.
“I love it out here, I’m definitely gonna move out here,” The Situation said.
Lopez then gave him a Los Angeles-themed gift basket, consisting of a Pink’s Hot Dog, an Olive Garden gift certificate, a script to take to the gym with him, and a piece of paper Lopez implied had Tila Tequila’s phone number on it.
“You’re gonna need this, because if you live out here, you’re gonna wind up hitting this, because everybody has,” Lopez said.
Lopez Tonight airs on TBS weeknights at 11/10c; the show will move to midnight when new TBS hire Conan O’Brien takes over the 11 p.m. slot this November. Dancing With The Stars returns on ABC Monday at 8/7c, while new episodes of Jersey Shore air on MTV Thursdays at 10/9c.
