Michael Douglas is refusing to let cancer stop him from enjoying life.

The Wall Street star walked his young daughter Carys Zeta Douglas to school in Manhattan on Tuesday morning, and RadarOnline.com has the latest shots of the two-time Oscar winner.

The actor is currently going through intense radiation and chemotherapy sessions as he battles the deadly disease, but he remains optimistic.

Speaking to USA Today, he says, "I like my odds. I'm not dealing with mortality issues until they tell me, 'Oops, we have to go back and do surgery', or something like that. The tumour is shrinking. The odds are good... I haven't found God yet. I was really upset early on, but I've had time to realize that (stuff) happens."

Douglas says he's also started to drink aloe-infused water to ease the throat pain caused due to intense radiation and chemo sessions.

His wife Catherine Zeta Jones - who said she was 'furious' at doctors who misdiagnosed him when he first complained of throat problems - often escorts him to the hospital for his treatments.

Cameron is currently serving time on a drug conviction.

Douglas' next film, Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps (a followup to his 1987 hit Wall Street), opens on Friday, September 24. Douglas has said in spite of his illness, he still plans to promote the film as much as possible.
