The two lovebirds exchanged a romantic smooch as Von D dropped off James at the airport in Los Angeles Monday, presumably so he could fly back to his newly adopted hometown of Austin, Texas – the same city where his ex Sandra Bullocks owns a home.
Before their tender goodbye, the 28-year-old L.A. Ink star and 41-year-old West Coast Choppers star were seen canoodling at two music festivals in Orange County, California over the weekend, the Sutra5 and the Pacific Festival.

This summer was full of changes for James: his marriage to The Blind Side star was officially dissolved in late June; he then relocated from Southern California to move to the Lone Star State, and now looks to have found love again with the heavily-tattooed brunette.
