Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx has moved quickly to get over his break-up with Kat Von D and has found comfort in the arms of another scorned love, Melissa London.
“They’re dating,” a source close to the pair told RadarOnline.com exclusively.
Last month, Melissa split from her husband Jeremy London, the Mallrats star who claims he was kidnapped, robbed and forced to smoke drugs, and immediately flagged her intent to turn whistleblower against her one-time lover in the forthcoming trial of the man charged in connection with the incident.
“I believe it was a drug deal gone bad,” Melissa told RadarOnline.com while she was in drug rehabilitation.
Jeremy is furious at her comments and says she is lying.
Melissa went through drug rehab, and now is spending time with Sixx. They were recently photographed together in Los Angeles.
“They’re taking it slowly but they have a mutual and common bond: their sobriety,” added the source.
“Since graduating from rehab, Melissa is moving on with her third chance at a sober life.”
Sixx, who admitted to his own drug demons and an overdose in his memoir The Heroin Diaries: A Year in the Life of a Shattered Rock Star, met London in 2007.
The pair reconnected last month, after Melissa was released from rehab.
It coincided with the unexpected split between Sixx and Kat Von D., who had been dating for two years and had an on-and-off relationship.
Von D. has started dating Sandra Bullock’s ex-husband, Jesse James.
Sixx had appeared in the season premiere of LA Ink, and the pair started to again see each other and were spotted at Motley Crew’s performance at OzzFest in California.
