Tareq and Michaele Salahi, the so-called White House Gatecrashers, were again the center of attention on Thursday night's episode of Bravo’s Real Housewives of D.C., as Tareq bragged about his wife's hearty eating habits after a week in which Michaele's super-skinny frame was a hot topic on the tabloid rumor mill.

Michaele has been trading barbs with fellow housewife Lynda Erkiletian, who has publicly made stinging comments about how emaciated the blonde  'Gatecrasher'  appears to be. Thursday's episode climaxed with a group dinner in which Tareq started giving his castmates the skinny -- no pun intended -- on Michaele's lithe frame.

"Listen, this is a true story: She gained at least 20 pounds -- in beautiful places -- after we met," Tareq said. "Some people make fun of her not eating ... but she has gained weight ever since she married Mr. Salahi here.

"She'll eat a whole filet mignon, a whole chicken breast," Tareq said. "That's more than I eat!"

Erkiletian was not swayed by Tareq's boastful claims, as she said in a later on-camera interview "he cannot possibly think his wife's body looks healthy.”

Erkiletian blamed Tareq for Michaele's weight issues, as she said "no wonder she's so skinny -- she's living with Tareq," before suggesting Michaele should "get rid of" him.

Michaele, earlier this week, wrote on her Web site that Erkiletian “takes pleasure in tearing down other women, which I think is wrong.”

The Real Housewives of D.C. airs on Bravo Thursdays at 9/8c.
