Harry Potter Star’s Father & Brother Threatened To Kill Her

Harry Potter star Afshan Azad's father and brother were charged on Tuesday in Manchester, England’s Magistrates' Court in connection with making death threats to the 22-year-old beauty, RadarOnline.com has learned.

The actress, who plays Padma Patil in the popular film series, allegedly was threatened by her father Abdul Azad, 54, and brother Ashraf Azaed, 28, at her Manchester home in May during an argument revolving around her boyfriend who they disapproved of. The brother faces additional charges that he allegedly attacked Afshan physically, leaving the actress bruised.

Abdul and Ashraf have been released on bail until July 12, at which time they will be summoned back to Manchester Crown Court for committal proceedings in connection with the case.

"I don't want to comment on anything," Ashraf told reporters outside his home Thursday. "We are going to get trouble from the community now. I am not happy at all. I could lose my job over this because the people at work will see this."
