PHOTOS: Fans And Loved Ones Gather At Michael Jackson's Forest Lawn Memorial

Crowds flocked to the tomb of Michael Jackson at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Los Angeles on Friday to honor the first anniversary of the King of Pop’s death, and say a final farewell to the beloved gloved one.

Many devoted fanatics dressed up in their favorite Michael Jackson outfits, including suitably sober dark suits and trilby hats, or red leather Thriller jackets. Others wore armbands with “R.I.P. Michael Jackson 1958-2009” buttons or held signs pledging: “We Will Always Love You.”

RadarOnliine.com announced last week that the special memorial had been planned to allow the public to pay their respects at the historical cemetery in the Burbank area of the city of Angels.

Although they were not allowed into Michael’s personal mausoleum, a steady stream of fans walked along the Holly Terrace and left a rainbow of flowered wreaths and gifts for their fallen idol.
