New Moon Nominated For 5 Teen Choice Awards

The first wave in nominee's August's Teen Choice 2010 awards were announced Monday, and the second installment of Stephenie Meyer's smash hit Twilight series, New Moon, received five nominations altogether.
Among the honors New Moon is up for include Choice Movie: Fantasy; Choice Movie Actor: Fantasy (both Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner); Choice Movie Actress: Fantasy (Kristen Stewart) and Choice Movie: Villain (Rachelle Lefevre).

Other nominee leaders Monday included Gossip Girl and Iron Man 2 (six nominations apiece); and Glee (five).
Starting Monday, fans ages 13-19 can vote once each day for their favorite nominees at www.teenchoiceawards.com.
The Teen Choice 2010 awards, hosted by Katy Perry, airs Monday, August 9 at 8/7c on FOX. And don't forget, the third installment in The Twilight Series, Eclipse, hits theaters June 30.
