Miley Cyrus turned in a very grown-up performance on Britain’s Got Talent Thursday night that has some critics of the 17-year-old more than a little upset. Half-way through the number, it appeared that Miley kissed one of her female back-up singers.

“I promise you I did not kiss her and it is ridiculous that two entertainers can’t even rock out with each other without the media making it some type of story,” Miley wrote.

“I really hope my fans are not disappointed in me because the truth is I did nothing wrong.
