Katherine Heigl, whose latest flick Killers opened on Friday, is most famous for her Golden Globe-winning performance as Dr. Izzie Stevens on Grey's Anatomy, but the beautiful blonde hit Hollywood long before she put on the scrubs that made her a star!

Making her acting debut in the early 1990's the thespian's style has evolved over the years, from sexy starlet to Old Hollywood glam.

After a few small parts, Katherine grabbed attention in the comedy hit My Father the Hero, playing a fun and feisty, boy-crazy teenager.

Hitting the premiere of Something to Talk About in 1995 in a floral slip dress, nude nylons and white sandals, she was clearly a style sign of the times.

Katherine expanded her celebrity with a 3-year run on the sci-fi television show Roswell, which ended in 2002.

During this time she played with fashion, even rocking western-themed duds to the red carpet premiere of The Beach in 2000.

Until 2005, the actress struggled to establish herself, staring in several straight to DVD and TV movies, but as soon as she booked a coveted role on the medical drama Grey's Anatomy, she became a star overnight!

While some fashion critics criticize Katherine for her conservative choices of couture, we find the blonde beauty refreshingly fabulous.

Opting for traditional Old Hollywood glamour, the actress always radiates in the color red, looks flawless in the designs of Zac Posen, Bottega Veneta and Escada and sophisticatedly sassy in perfectly tailored Dolce & Gabbana suits.
