Monica Beresford-Redman, the slain wife of former Survivor producer Bruce Beresford-Redman, is finally being laid to rest.

RadarOnline.com has learned that Monica's body will be buried in a small gathering of friends and family at an undisclosed location Thursday, almost three months after her brutal murder.

"Bruce will not be invited," a source told RadarOnline.com.

"A small group of friends and family were invited and told to keep the location under tight wraps."

A memorial service was held for Monica on May 30 at the Agape International Spiritual Center in Culver City, California.

But a source said the burial will be a step towards closure for friends and family.

"It's been a long drawn-out struggle since Monica died," the insider said.

"We're still fighting for justice to be served, but the burial will provide some much-needed closure."

According to previous reports, Bruce wanted to have Monica's body cremated.

Since Monica's death, her sister Jeane Burgos has been in an intense custody battle with Bruce over the custody of his two children with Monica., three-year-old Alec and five-year-old Camila.

Monica's body was found in a sewer in April in Cancun, Mexico where she and husband Bruce were vacationing, hoping to work on their dissolving marriage.

Bruce is back in the U.S. and although Mexico has issued a warrant for his arrest, they have yet to detain him.
