Although Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi didn’t have sex for most of their relationship, Jake wants everyone to know that he is not gay.

In fact, a friend of The Bachelor star since childhood exclusively tells RadarOnline.com “he's most certainly not gay.”

Since word of the Bachelor break-up made headlines, the couple’s deepest darkest secrets have been played out in public.

“Vienna told me, ‘I don’t think Jake is into girls,’” a friend of Vienna’s told RadarOnline.com.

And Vienna told Star magazine that Jake made excuse after excuse to avoid intimacy with her. Jake’s friend tells RadarOnline.com that lack of intimacy with Vienna is not because of Jake’s sexual orientation.

“Look at him. He’s the all-American perfect catch of a guy,” Jake’s friend says. “There’s a reason why ABC cast him as the most eligible bachelor in America.

“If he wanted to go out and just get laid by beautiful women, he could, no doubt. But sex to him means and has always meant something. He was that guy in high school that waited for the relationship to deepen before he slept with a girl.”

The Texas pilot stopped having sex with Vienna because she made him so insecure that he lost interest, our source says.

“He actually confided in me about a month ago when he was thinking about ending things with Vienna, saying he just couldn’t be intimate with her anymore because he lost that fire for her,” the source told RadarOnline.com.

“She would break him down, undermine him, make fun of him, and it really took a toll on him. Don't get me wrong, Jake’s a confident guy, but every guy knows that when a women disrespects you to that level, it's hard to make love to her and mean it,” the source says.
