Sean Penn Cops A Plea - Placed On Probation

Sean Penn's attorney formally pled no contest Wednesday morning to a charge of misdemeanor vandalism and the battery charge was dismissed, Frank Mateljian, spokesperson for the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office tells RadarOnline.com.

The charges stem from an incident between Penn and a photographer last October. Sean Penn wasn't present at the LAX Airport Courthouse this morning.

Sports Stars who have been arrested

As part of the plea, Penn was placed on three years probation, and ordered to perform 300 hours of community service and 36 hours of anger management. There is a restitution hearing set for July 8th for the photographer’s medical bills and other incurred expenses because of the run-in.
