"Rickrolling" Is Back!

It’s been 17 years since Rick Astley’s hit 'Never Gonna Give You Up' but thanks to an online prank based around his biggest hit, people haven’t forgotten him. So Astley decided it’s time for a comeback.
"I'm not expecting great things this time round," he told The Sun, saying he's simply "having a giggle" with the June 7 release of 'Lights Out,' his first single since retiring in 1993.

Astley, now 44, became an Internet phenomenon in 2007 when his song became part of a bait-and-switch joke called "Rickrolling."
People would send a link to their friends, calling it something entirely different , but instead it leads to the video for 'Give You Up.' Rick called the prank "bizarre and funny," and that same year the MTV Europe Music Awards gave him an honorary award for Best Act Ever. Least you think it was just a joke, in it’s heyday 'Never Gonna Give You Up' topped the charts in Astley's native UK in 1987 and the US Billboard charts in 1988.
