Juan-Carlos Cruz was arrested in Santa Monica, CA for allegedly soliciting homeless people to commit a murder for him, RadarOnline.com can report.

The former host of Calorie Commando on The Food Network, Cruz is said to have approached a number of homeless people in an attempt to find a hit man. More than one of the transients went to the cops, who then set up a sting operation.
Cruz was arrested Thursday. He is being held on $5 million bail.
