In a shocking and candid new interview, Jesse James' former stepmother is giving RadarOnline.com an exclusive look into the twisted childhood behavior of Jesse James, the man who proclaimed himself "the most hated man in the world" in wake of cheating on his Oscar winning wife, Sandra Bullock.

"Jesse seems to not realize what his actions will do," Janina Coan told RadarOnline.com. "He has no empathy towards people. He doesn't see that things you say, things you do, will hurt someone. He just doesn't seem to care about that.

"He's a charmer. A little bit of a con artist of course," she continued. "Jesse is very, very funny. Some of the things that he likes I don't agree with, but that's up to him not me." Coan was referring to Jesse's fascination with obsession with Nazi's, Hitler and the SS.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Coan alleges that Jesse killed baby rats when he was a teenager. "He had a bit of a cruel streak growing up," she said in reference to the incident. "That was quite disturbing. That made me think maybe there's more to Jesse that people don't know.

"Jesse would joke about Mexicans being wetbacks and yes, he did use the 'N' word and no, he doesn't like homosexuals."

"The image that he's Jesse portraying is that he was poor and abused and had nothing. Those that know Jesse know that's a lie," Coan said. "I think this image that he's created about being the bad boy... It just seems to me that this image has taken Jesse over, and Jesse's not the same Jesse he was growing up."

As for Jesse's claims during his interview with ABC's Nightline where he said he attributes his actions to a form of self-destruction because he "never felt good enough", Coan says that's completely false. "Jesse was good enough for everything," Coan said. "He was quite popular. To say that he never felt good enough, I don't buy that at all. That's an excuse."

Above all, Coan wanted to clear up the accusations Jesse made against his father Larry. "When I saw the Nightline interview and I heard Jesse say that he didn't have a childhood and that he was abused, I was devastated," Coan told RadarOnline.com. "It was a blatant outrageous lie. I was there for his childhood and his teen years, I know that his father was the most loving man that devoted his life to his children."
