Sammi’s attorney fired back after Deminco’s attorney held a news conference in Miami on Monday.

“Anytime someone is holding a press conference they are clearly in it for the fame” said Leonard. “I don’t think the civil suit is worth the filing fees and it’s a colossal waste of everybody’s time.”

Deminco’s attorney disagrees: “There are four other people in New Jersey who have been victim to this behavior,” Pennkamp says referring to Jersey Shore fights since the show began. “And it’s actually a big deal. There is a RICO lawsuit filed in New Jersey and we’ll do the same.” RICO refers to Racketeering Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, which also makes it a criminal offense.

Leonard who doesn’t seem convinced of the seriousness of the future filing said, “There are two sides to every story so no one should prejudge what happened.”
