MTV wants to get you a job.

Monday night the network is launching a new TV show called Hired. It’s like Apprentice, but 18 people get hired!

The docu-series is about young people competing for entry-level jobs, and RadarOnline.com has exclusive interviews with the executive producers.

"There is so much drama and competition and there are so many times where people are funny and they aren't even trying." said show Executive Producer Jessica Chesler.

Hired is a docu-series that takes viewers inside young peoples lives competing for their dream job. Each show begins with about 15 applicants and the pressure is really on when the final three complete a task appropriate to the job and then a winner walks away with a job,” said Chesler.

Executive Producer Sam Simmons says the show is particularly relevant now because it’s one of the tightest jobs markets in history. "MTV had been dabbling with the idea of developing a job show and this really appealed to them" said Simmons.

Chesler says contestants end up learning valuable lessons, "It's amazing that they all truly think they've nailed it when they complete their interview but she adds, "When they leave it gives them the opportunity to see their mistakes."

Each episode ends with one person getting a job. “We had 18 out of 20 successful placements,” Chesler said, “There are two people who decided not to take the job.”

Job coach Ryan Kahn says “I teach them to mentally never give up and to keep dusting off that resume and begin again.”

Hired premieres Monday at 6:30 p.m. on MTV.
