Dr. Drew Pinsky, host of the VH-1 hit series, Celebrity Rehab, has some words of advice for the the judge handling Lindsay Lohan's legal mess, "It's my sincere hope that an enlightened judge will not sentence Lindsay Lohan to jail, if indeed she is found to have violated terms of her probation.

“If Lindsay is found the be in violation," Dr. Drew told RadarOnline.com, "I hope the judge will order Lindsay into a long-term residential treatment program. Jail isn't the worst choice, but it certainly wouldn't be my first choice for Lindsay. The only way some people find sobriety is by being in jail, so in some cases it does work. Lindsay doesn't seem to be motivated to get help, it appears that she is fighting this entire process, and that obviously makes it so much harder for everyone involved."

Dr. Drew says there could be cause for concern at Lindsay being prohibited from consuming any alcohol, or illegal substances, "There is always a cause for concern when someone suddenly stops drinking and taking illegal drugs. A person can have medical issues such as withdrawing and going through detox. Someone in that situation should be monitored. However, there are some prescription medications that can block withdrawl symptons. If Lindsay is indeed taking prescription medications such as Adderall, or benzodiazepines I would advise that she abstain from taking those types of medications, as they can impede her recovery process." Dr. Drew wants to emphasize that he isn't treating Lindsay and isn't aware of any prescription drugs she might be taking.
