As RadarOnline.com reported, it was Celebrity Boxing enthusiast and Lindsay Lohan’s dad Michael Lohan who first got the news that Feldman had emailed a suicide note to his lawyer, Stephanie Ovadia just after 12 p.m. est on Sunday and was in danger of harming himself.

“I called Damon, got him on the phone, I found out his son was with him and tried to talk sense into him,” Michael told RadarOnline.com exclusively. “Recently, Damon has been targeted by the governor of Pennsylvania, claiming our fights were "rigged"/ "fixed"…WHICH THEY ARE NOT!!! From the note, it appears Damon felt because of this, his life was falling apart and he was in immediate danger of ending it. After sharing my own experiences with him and trying to make light of what he is facing and what he has to lose, I finally got him to agree to get his son to a safe place while Kate (Major) searched the internet for Damon and his father's addresses.

Lohan told RadarOnline.com that police went to Feldman's house as Michael kept him on the phone. He said Feldman was talked out of a room by police and taken to a hospital without incident and that everyone is fine.

According to Di Michele, Feldman feels he owes his life to Lohan. “He just kept saying how grateful he is to Mike…how he owes him everything and how incredibly appreciative he is to him for everything he did for him today,” Di Michele said.

The Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office has accused Feldman, 40, of staging numerous events in the Philadelphia area without a valid promoter’s license from the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission, as well as pre-arranging the “winners” and “losers” of various bouts. The organizations' last match was a heavily promoted fight between Jesse James' mistress #1 Michelle "Bombshell" McGee and adult film star Gina Lynn.

Di Michele told RadarOnline.com that the controversy surrounding Celebrity Boxing had really started to get under Feldman’s skin.

“He’d always be thinking about it. We’d be talking about how great our next fight was going to be and then he’d go back to it and say, ‘man why is this happening? What am I going to do?’” Di Michele said. “Here’s a guy whose whole life was built around Celebrity Boxing. He paid his bills from it and now it was being threatened. It was a very difficult situation for him. If you talk to any of the promoters, or the fighters… anyone involved with Celebrity Boxing and Damon, they all support him.”

“Di Michele continued, “I never saw him as depressed as much as worried. Now I’m not so sure. What happened today was a big shock.”

Lohan told RadarOnline.com that state officials are simply wrong in denouncing Feldman's federation and that Damon "is a good person, with a good heart, just trying to make a living at what he knows best...BOXING! By no means were or are the fights I fought in fixed or rigged."
