Gary Coleman was planning to film a documentary-style show about his rollercoaster life, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.

The diminutive star, who died at a Utah Hospital on Friday morning after suffering from a brain hemorrhage, was looking forward to the project according to his lawyer Randy Kester. Coleman was determined to set the record straight about his career and some of the highs and lows of his life by taking part in a series about iconic television personalities.

“We last talked around three weeks ago and Gary was in good spirits," Kester said. "He was getting along well with his wife Shannon and was in talks to take part in a shoot in Canada about iconic television people. It would have told the story of his career and life but unfortunately that will never happen now."

Though Coleman's health has been an increasing concern, Kester says the star was finally in a good place to move forward to better times. “Gary was having fun doing work around his house with Shannon and he was upbeat about the future," he said. “There was a false public perception about Gary because he was actually a very loving and kind guy. They may have had their highs and lows but he and Shannon had a real relationship and tried to build a life together.

“He used to get frustrated with the legal process sometimes and I don’t know if he really realized how big an impact that he made around the world. A lot of people knew who Gary Coleman was through Diff'rent Strokes.

"When I found out that he died I was really sad. I am going to miss the little guy.”

Coleman had suffered a fall on Wednesday at the home he shared with Shannon Price in Santaquin City, 55 miles outside Salt Lake City. That fall cause an intracranial hemorrhage and he slipped into a coma. He passed away shortly after being taken off of life support.
