BREAKING NEWS: Actress Lynn Redgrave Dead At 67

Actress Lynn Redgrave died at 67 on Sunday night at her Manhattan apartment, RadarOnline.com has learned.
"Our beloved mother Lynn Rachel passed away peacefully after a seven year journey with breast cancer," her family said in a statement Monday.
"She lived, loved and worked harder than ever before. The endless memories she created as a mother, grandmother, writer, actor and friend will sustain us for the rest of our lives. Our entire family asks for privacy through this difficult time."
The statuesque British actress was a member of the Redgrave family of acclaimed actors, and was trained in London before making her theatrical debut in 1962. While she never caught on with the public quite as strong her older sister Vanessa did, by the mid-1960s, she had appeared in several films, including Tom Jones (1963) and Georgy Girl (1966), which won her a New York Film Critics Award and nominations for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award. She was also nominated for a best supporting actress Oscar in 1999 for her performance in 1998's Gods and Monsters. Her work on the stage brought equal acclaim, as she received Tony nominations for her roles in Mrs. Warren's Profession, Shakespeare for My Father and The Constant Wife.
Her most recent acting endeavors were 2009 stints on episodes of Ugly Betty and Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
Redgrave's death comes more than a year after her niece, Natasha Richardson, died from head injuries sustained in a skiing accident.
