Shawn Southwick King may have alleged that her famous husband Larry King was having an affair with her sister Shannon Engemann, but that hasn’t split-up her family — Shawn’s parents, Karl and Gerri Engemann, have moved into the $7 million Beverly Hills mansion that their daughter shares with King, and they’ve even made light of the situation, RadarOnline.com has learned.
After ordering-up pizza and soft drinks for the paparazzi who had camped outside the main gates on Thursday, Shawn’s father was all smiles despite the shocking allegations regarding his family.
Karl Engemann joked: “Did you enjoy the pizza guys – it was all for you!
“I can’t say anything about the divorce and the lawyer has already left – we are getting ready to go to a baseball game.”
“But we are all doing well thanks.”
Despite the turmoil behind the scenes, Karl’s wife Gerri was also all smiles as she waved at the photographers and chatted with her daughter too.
The grandparents of the couple’s two sons Chance, 11, and Cannon, 9, accompanied their daughter to a little league baseball game Thursday night where she met-up with her estranged husband in another bizarre moment.
King is currently staying at a nearby five star hotel while the couple go through the motions after filing divorce papers on the grounds of ‘irreconcilable differences’ as they fight for custody of their two sons.
Things could get messy in the divorce – which will be the eighth for King – as both sides are claiming that the other cheated during the 12-year-marriage.
Beverly Hills police were called to the house several times on Thursday, but it’s understood that they were not investigation any new allegations between the couple just making sure the paparazzi did not trespass on the property.
Between visits from Beverly Hills police, Shawn King spent several hours talking with powerhouse celebrity attorney Robert Kaufman is giving advice to her regarding her strategy involving her divorce.
While Kaufman visited King, a personal trainer also dropped by to make sure the stunning 50-year-old stays in shape while Larry ordered breakfast for his two boys from one of his favorite Los Angeles eateries, Nate-N-Al’s earlier in the day.
Seems like business as usual for this less than normal bunch!
