"He had an extraordinary career in Australia, he's been working a very long time and he's been in some amazing films," his Clash co-star Alexa Davalos told us. "Nobody deserves this more than he does, and he's an extraordinary guy and he will not change, he's always been steadfastly himself and it’s a breath of fresh air to see that."

The film's director, Louis Leterrier, called Worthington "the best actor ever, and such a human man and a great, great friend."

Also at the premiere was Dancing with the Stars hunk Maksim Chmerkovskiy, and we asked him about the sexy goddesses that are featured in the mythology-based film, and which one he liked the most.

"Just the ones you have fun with," Chmerkovskiy said. "Not the ones that turn you to stone -- those I've had enough of."

Clash of the Titans hits theaters Friday, April 2.
