The challenges that Leah faces on a daily basis are far more difficult than any of the other stars of 16 and Pregnant. She was not only the mother of one child; she gave birth to twins—and lives on her own!

“Right now I’m currently not living with my mom either,” the former West Virginia cheerleader says, “I have my own place. It’s just me and the girls right now… I have two kids to take care of. And it made life ten times harder.”

Leah, who barely knew baby daddy Corey, would like to make things work even though they are having relationship issues. “I didn’t really want to lose Corey… Maybe Corey will come back home with us. I don’t really know.”

She went on to say “After we get past the hurt and everything else, I think we can pull through. And bring our family together and work things out. I really want that –more than anything.”

In the beginning Leah wasn’t realistic about having a baby, “I thought that once I had babies, oh I could go back to my slim size. And go on about life and be able to hang out with my friends…But I thought that everything could just be normal again.”

Leah’s 17 now and she has set many goals for her future. She wants to a nurse, and hopes one day to be a family again with Corey and her twins Aliannah Hope and Aleeah Grace.

16 and Pregnant airs on MTV at 10 p.m. ET Tuesday.
