As Randy and Evi Quaid continue to thumb their noses at authorities by refusing, two days in a row, to appear in court in Santa Barbara, California, the Mayor of Marfa, Texas is telling them not to return there – ever!

Judge Issues Warrant Without Bail For Evi and Randy Quaid

The oddball pair faces a felony charge of defrauding an innkeeper. The couple is accused of racking up a bill of over $10,000 at the five-star San Ysidro Ranch last June and skipping town. They were due to appear in court Monday, but were nowhere to be found. They were then expected to appear in court Tuesday. Again, they were no-shows, and the judge issued a warrant without bail for the quirky Quaids.

So where is the elusive couple?

RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned one place they are not; they are not in hiding in small town Marfa, where they were hoping to set up a new home and open a museum in honor of the Brokeback Mountain star Quaid’s film career.

The Mayor went on to say, “It’s my understanding that the owner of the commercial building they had in the town is currently in litigation proceedings with them and wants the building back.

Nobody here in Marfa misses the Quaids and we would not welcome them opening up a museum here either.”

While they were in Marfa, the Quaids caused a whole host of problems. They were accused of vandalism and posted a public defamatory sign about a local sheriff after Evi Quaid was arrested on warrant for not originally appearing in court in Santa Barbara.
