Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt’s romance may be finished but the fallout from their breakup continues. As the he-said-she-said back and forth continues, RadarOnline.com has learned new details about their relationship, including how Doug spent $2 million on Paris in 18 months!
“Doug never used Paris. He spent 2 million dollars on her over the course of a year and a half,” a source revealed to RadarOnline.com. “She never once paid for a single thing. She didn’t so much as pay for a cup of coffee the whole time they were together.”
“Doug even added her to his American Express credit card and she had carte blanche spending permission. Plus he would let her fly all the time on the Reinhardt family jet – even if she was on her own, Doug would charter it for her.”
Reinhardt, a former professional baseball player, had a lot to live up to in terms of keeping up with the heiress’ jet-setting lifestyle. During the course of their relationship they had been to Fiji, Hawaii, Aspen and Anguilla among other places.
“Between flying private, private islands, etc… in reality he paid for everything!”
Doug was also known to lavish her with gifts including a baby teacup Pomeranian, Chanel watch, and custom-made diamond jewelry.
Recently, the former twosome flaunted their single status at the Coachella music festival over the weekend, both flirting up a storm with surrounding attractive music lovers. Doug was even photographed in a passionate lip-lock with an unidentified brunette, which may have prompted Paris’ recent tirade about him claiming she is getting “thousands of calls” since she got back on the dating scene, “doesn’t even care” about the breakup, and is “better off” without Doug.
“You probably saw the new quotes P gave to US magazine saying she was over Doug and ‘I don’t even remember that time in my life, I am over it’ etc,” the source said. “Her quote pick-ups are just ridiculous and make her sound like an idiot.”
In fact, it is Reinhardt who sounds happy to be on the way to separating himself from the tabloid drama Hilton can fuel.
“Doug is sick of P and really just wants all this to go away and focus on his future stuff.”
