Michael Barrett, an ex-insurance executive from Westmont, Illinois, admittedly followed Andrews through Tennessee, Ohio, and and Wisconsin, requesting rooms adjacent to where she was staying and videotaping Erin Andrews nude through peepholes. He was arrested October 2 at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport.

In addition to the 30-month sentence, which begins May 3, he will have to pay the ESPN beauty $7,366 in restitution fees.

After he was sentenced, Barrett said he hopes Andrews "can forgive me," to which Andrews responded Tuesday that she thinks "he feels bad he was caught."

EXCLUSIVE DOCUMENTS: Erin Andrews Stalker’s Plea Deal

In response to Barrett's pleas for a lenient sentence because he has kids, Andrews said, "I wanted him to know I'm a daughter to two parents and they are just mortified and they are so upset ... I wanted him to know as a daughter what he did to me."

Andrews, who was named "sexiest sportscaster" in both 2008 and 2009 by Playboy magazine, will be a contestant on the tenth season of ABC's Dancing With The Stars, when it premieres on Monday, March 22.

"I wanted to have a change of pace, make myself smile, do something different," she said of her stint on ABC's ballroom hit. "It was time for that."
