Tiger Woods To Hold Pre-Masters News Conference

Tiger Woods has caught plenty of flak for his strained attempts at communicating with the public, be it his staged media event last month, or short, restrictive interviews he did earlier this week with The Golf Channel and ESPN.

Come the Masters, however, Woods will face a full room of reporters when he holds first news conference in nearly five months, RadarOnline.com has learned, prior to the kickoff of the golf tournament.

Golf legend Arnold Palmer told the Associated Press he thinks the truth will set Tiger free.

“It’s up to him to do and say whatever he feels he needs to do to redeem the situation, put it in the proper place,” Palmer said. "I suppose the best thing he could do would be open up and just let you guys shoot at him. And that’s just my thought.”
