Glee fans, get ready: This spring, members of the popular Fox hit show Glee are slated to take the stage in Glee Live! In Concert!, which features live performances of show hits such as Somebody To Love, Jump, Don’t Rain on My Parade, Sweet Caroline and Don’t Stop Believin.
“The response of the fans to our little show has been so immediate and so gratifying, we wanted to get out and thank them live and in person,” the show’s co-creator Ryan Murphy told RadarOnline.com in a statement. “And what show lends itself more to a concert than Glee? We can’t wait to take this show on the road and the actors couldn’t be more excited to perform live for audiences in these four cities.”
Lea Michele, who plays Rachel on the hit show, said, “This has been such an extraordinary year for Glee and I can’t think of a better way to finish up the first season than performing live on stage with the cast.”
The tour stops at Phoenix’s Dodge Theatre May 18; Los Angeles’ Gibson Amphitheatre May 20-21; Chicago’s Rosemont Theatre May 25-26, before finishing up at New York City’s famed Radio City Music Hall May 28-29.
Tickets go on sale for the general public March 12 for the Phoenix dates and March 13 for Los Angeles, New York and Chicago dates.
New episodes of Glee return to Fox Tuesday, April 13 at 9/8c.
