EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: New Show Hoarding: Buried Alive, Shocking First Episode

A new TLC series is focusing on the dark side people often hide - obsessive hoarding and the people it devastates. RadarOnline.com has an exclusive clip from the new show Hoarding: Buried Alive that will showcase the emotionally unstable world of extreme hoarders.
In the shocking exclusive video, one of the two hoarders in the first episode is Chris, who lives in a house filled to the ceiling with his things. He has been hiding the extreme hoarding in his jam packed three-story home from his girlfriend, but as Dr. Keith Saylor tries to help him start the cleaning process he becomes extremely agitated and starts throwing his things around. Chris eventually flees the situation, and has to climb over piles taller than he is to get out of the house.
In the trailer for the show Chris brings his girlfriend Annie to his house for the first time. She is shocked and even becomes angry by his home. “You live here?” she asks. She emotionally begs him to explain his hoarding. “Why? Why is it like this? Really, really, really why? Can you tell me why?”
Hoarding specialist Dr. Keith Saylor discuss what they are trying to achieve by helping the people on the show. “Hoarding is a severe task master and once someone begins hoarding it’s really hard to escape the web unless correct treatment occurs,” Dr. Saylor said. “So that’s why we try to bring people along slowly, keeping them ever mindful of why we’re doing this, what’s the process? The process here is changing your relationship with your things.”
