EXCLUSIVE VIDEO INTERVIEW: Poor Score, But Kate Gosselin Looks Glam In "Dancing" Debut

Kate Gosselin gave credit to her dance partner, Tony Dovolani, saying he "well prepared" her for the pressures of the night, as Dovolani added that Kate, being essentially a dancing novice, did well despite the third-lowest score.

Gold medal figure skater Evan Lysacek, who garnered a solid 23 points out of 30, said the night was "pretty cool" and he looked forward to absorbing the judges' criticism and going back to the drawing board to improve on his dances.

ESPN's Erin Andrews said she was unconcerned about the judges' reactions as she was dancing, preferring to focus on partner Maxim Chmerkovskiy (Who can blame her?) and the chemistry between the two. Chmerkovskiy added that, as a pro, part of his job is to keep the celebs relaxed for the dance floor.

Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger, who was the night's big winner with a 25-point score for her Viennese waltz, said she was prepared to listen to the judges’ critique and "take from what they give you."

Iconic astronaut Buzz Aldrin, who received a measly 14 points out of 30 for his cha-cha, said he might "wink at Carrie Anne" to gain brownie points.

Dancing With The Stars continues next Monday at 8/7c on ABC.
