Jessica shares that she was desperate to return to music, one of the great loves of her life, and is ecstatic to be back in the studio, “It was amazing the first time I got up there to sing again,” Jessica told RadarOnline.com. “And to get back into the studio. It was so great! It was so great to see a camera... I was like, ‘Oh hi, I remember you.’”

Sierra has been working hard on her upcoming single, Enough, a song which she felt summed up her state of mind at the time she first heard it. “My producer wrote the single,” Jessica said.

“We had been in the studio doing a bunch of different songs and listening to them, because we were trying to find out what our niche was, you know what we were going for and then he played me this song, Enough, and I was like ‘I love it’. It was like, enough about life, enough about men, and all the bull(bleep)..enough.. enough... enough of all of it.  I’m tired, I’m just getting rid of all that crap in my life and moving on to bigger and better things.”

“It feels amazing to be sober. I mean we did the VH1 Celebrity Rehab thing and after that my life just got so much better.  I got so much better.  I mean I’m able to do everything with a clear mind which I wasn’t able to do then and you know I can really take care of my child and that I wouldn’t be able to do if I was getting loaded.”

Jessica candidly talks about the catalyst that forced her to finally face her demons and get sober. She says, “I think the turning point for me in my addiction is when I realized there either needed to be a drastic change or I was going to die.  You know I was sitting in jail and my whole life I wanted to be a singer, or I wanted to be a star.  I wanted to get out of the whole cycle of the addiction that my family is trapped in. So sitting, for me in a jail cell facing 10 years in prison, I think I realized if I don’t straighten out my s**t, then I’m going to either be dead like my mother, in prison or in an institution somewhere and that’s not what I wanted.”

And keep your eyes and ears open for Jessica in the future, with her new positive attitude and renewed lust for life she vows she’s on the road to superstardom. “My plans for the future is to be a big star, but that’s not my main goal, that is to really enjoy my music and you know enjoy what I love,” she says. “I love to sing. All the music I want to do is based on my life. I want people to be able to listen to it and relate to it.”
