RadarOnline.com caught up with sixth-season American Idol runner-up Blake Lewis on the red carpet of Human Rights Campaign's star-studded gala in Los Angeles this past weekend, where he talked about his oft-discussed sexuality and gave his take on this season's Idol competition.

Lewis said he's heard -- and been asked about -- the rumors he is gay, but doesn't get too caught up in them.

"It's kinda like, ‘Ask a different question,’ I've answered it a thousand times, but it doesn't really matter," he told us exclusively. "I'm straight, it's not like I'm gonna go gay tomorrow."
