Before she was "Snooki," arguably the most talked-about girl on reality TV, Nicole Polizzi was like thousands of other teenagers -- a cheerleader!  Snooki was in the class of 2006 at Marlboro (NY) High School, and only RadarOnline.com has the amazing photos showing her getting her spirit on.

"Nicole was a crazy, high energy girl," one of her schoolmates tells RadarOnline.com exclusively.  "She was a free spirit, always the life of the party.  She was also a classic Mean Girl, catty and starting drama with the other girls who might have been nerdy."

Nicole graduated in 2006, and she and her cheerleader classmates called themselves The '06 Girls, the source said.  "They dressed alike, they talked alike.  But even with that, Nicole stood out.  There was something about her.  She was always taking pictures and videos of herself.  She always wanted to be famous, and she knew she would be.  She'd tell us, 'one day you'll see me in Hollywood'."

Nicole never had a steady boyfriend in high school,  the source revealed.  "Never anything more than a couple of months, maybe.  She liked to play the field and she always had her pick of guys."

And what does her high school friend think of Snooki's trademark hairdo?  "Her style really hasn't changed that much," he said.  "It is a bit more exaggerated but Nicole is being true to herself.  What you see on TV with Snooki is what you get.  That's the real her."
