EXCLUSIVE: No Audience Allowed In Taping For Charlie Sheen Show

Charlie Sheen has returned to work one day after pleading not guilty in his domestic violence case stemming from the Christmas day incident with his wife Brooke Mueller and RadarOnline.com can exclusively report that the show has closed ranks around their star. His sit-com Two and a Half Men shoots on the Warner Brothers lot in Burbank, California, and RadarOnline.com has learned that there will not be an audience this week as Charlie resumes filming.
Taping of the show happens on Fridays and is usually in front of a live studio audience, but this Friday it will be a closed set. Sheen makes a reported $900,000 an episode on the show, making him the highest paid actor on series television.

The last time the set was closed was the week after security was concerned about an alleged threat against Sheen’s co-star Jon Cryer, who claimed his former wife Sarah Trigger had made the threat – a charge she denies.

Sheen probably doesn’t have to worry that future court appearances relating to the Christmas day incident will affect his shooting schedule. Monday in court, the lawyers did discuss future dates for the hearing possibly happening in August, but Charlie’s manager Mark Burg said that Two and a Half Men will begin shooting the next season on August 15.
