EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Brooke Burke Talks New Dancing With The Stars Gig

Brooke Burke exclusively dished to RadarOnline.com about her new gig co-hosting Dancing With the Stars, her new co-host and how she's been preparing.
Burke, who won the seventh season of DWTS with pro-partner Derek Hough, said she got the news while vacationing in Africa with her husband, former Baywatch hunk David Charvet.
“I was in Africa with David," she told us exclusively. "I could make one phone call, and I called my manager -- he told me and I literally fell on the floor. It was already a magical evening because my family was reuniting, then I got the best news of my career."
Burke said she's already getting along great with her on-screen colleagues, such as co-host Tom Bergeron.
"Tom Bergeron is a funny, intelligent, witty man," she told us. "He is the perfect partner because he can roll with whatever. He's seasoned, he's generous, and he keeps saying ‘I'm not bad to look at.’ I'm hoping by for a 'hot' by week three -- smart men turn me on.”
Burke said that to prepare for her hosting gig, she's changed her workout from traditional Pilates to Pilates Plus.

"Its redefining my body," she said of Pilates Plus. "It's more head-to-toe sculpting. As a busy mom, I've only got so much time. I'm in better shape than when I was on the show!"
The tenth season of Dancing with the Stars begins Monday, March 22 at 8/7c on ABC, and RadarOnline.com will be backstage covering all the fun.
