Erin Andrews To Face Stalker During Sentencing Monday

Michael David Barrett, the Illinois man who pleaded guilty to a federal count of stalking ESPN reporter Erin Andrews last December, will be sentenced in a Los Angeles courtroom Monday afternoon, and Andrews is expected to be there to face him.

Barrett, 48, an ex-insurance executive from Westmont, Illinois, could receive more than two years in a federal prison in connection with his guilty plea, RadarOnline.com can report.

Barrett, who admitted following Andrews through Tennessee, Ohio, and Milwaukee, would request rooms adjacent to where she was staying and filmed her through peepholes. He was arrested October 2 at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport.

Andrews said at a plea hearing that the incident has left her with emotional scars. She thinks the amount of time he’ll likely spend behind bars is too lenient and she’s seeking more than $335,000 in restitution for her damages.

She is expected to speak in court prior to Barrett being sentenced.
